As an example of the price of gold at Lear Capital, the premium over the spot price for American Eagles is ten percent at the time of writing.

All orders online are limited to 5000 US dollars after hours.

You can order at any hour of the day, five days a week, using Lear Capital’s online real-time prices. Your order will immediately be confirmed by email when placed and you simply print the email and return the printed copy to Lear Capital with the funds if by check.

Lear Capital accept the most common forms of payment including bank wires, certified checks, cashier’s checks and postal money orders. Personal checks are also accepted bu tin this case the order is not shipped until the check is fully cleared.

Lear Capital do not accept credit cards payments due to the merchant fees involved and also no C.O.Ds (Cash on Delivery) is accepted.

Any orders over 5000 US Dollars, only bank wire is accepted and the bank wire information is sent to you when the order is placed.

Lear Capital will expect payment for your order within seven days and the payment must be post marked within 24-hours from your dated order. Lear capital may cancel the order if these conditions are not filled.

You can cancel your order if the price does not change or moves higher. In this case there will be a charge for the wholesale spread. Should the price move lower, however, you are responsible for the difference between the confirmed price and the current bid price. And your credit card will be charged for those differences.

Lear capital charge $24, plus $1.00 per thousand for shipping, handling and insurance for gold and platinum. For silver, they charge $24.00, plus $13 per thousand.

Usually, each order is shipped within 72-hours of the confirmation of payment. Generally that means two to three days from the time of good funds. Personal checks can take up to 10 business days to clear so that should be taken into account also. Lear Capital state they will call or email you when the order is ready to be shipped.
